Stephen Weigel This album carries a sense of closeness, and of distinguished, subdued, melancholy. I especially enjoy the little echoes of sounds that fade off into a faraway place. It's very aptly named. Favorite track: Grave Clearing Ceremony.

It’s hard already Cause I don't know When we'll be near again I’m tired already Even though, All I’ve done is stay in I hear your voice on the phone, and I even see your face… But it’s not enough, I long just to feel your embrace. I’ll just keep steady Although I know... I can’t sleep through the night…. I’ve cried already, I miss you so, And I know you’d hold me tight. My fear would fade from my eyes, and I’d melt into your arms…. if you were here, I know that you would keep me from harm… I wish that I had found you, before when I had the chance… I should have made time, I should have called I wish that I had seen you, that we’d stayed in touch Maybe right now I’d be right at your side… I feel so threatened, I’m wondering if I will see you again… It’s been unsettling I just don’t know, If this will ever end I’ll just keep dreaming, of when I see you Of when I hold your hand, ...I’ll tell you so you'll understand I'm thinking of you, I hope you feel My love that shines for you I'm dreaming of you The times we shared If I could, I'd follow you anywhere I know I can't be there with you But stay on the line a while I'll sing you to sleep Maybe I'll make you smile Go to sleep Don't you fret Don't wake up in a sweat Though it seems Things are bad It's not time for us yet Where did you Want to go Before it all fell down? Let's go there Let's dream now And we'll get you there somehow --- The harmonies are in a 43-note, unequal interval scale based on the theories of Zheanna Erose and the otonalities and utonalities of Harry Partch. In particular, the scale includes intervals of the form n/22 (undecimal primal lineal Just Intoned intervals) for n from 22 up to 44, and their inversions, the intervals of the form 44/m, from m from 43 down to 23. As a result, the scale is fully invertible and includes many interesting intervals of different sizes.

A shameless homage to Debussy and Tomita, reharmonized in a microtonal scale with a stretched octave divided into 22 parts. The usual octave 2/1 is replaced with the larger interval 257/128 (6.75 cents sharp) and this larger interval is divided into 22 even 54.85 cent intervals. The resulting scale has a quite sharp 5th interval.

I wear a sun hat, even when it rains. People say it's a good way to stay dry. I just smile, and go upon my way. I just play my own cards in this game. Lollipops, and laser bees. And other things so gay. I could chase down a rainbow all day. Lala la lala lala Lala la lala lala La la laala lala Lala lala lala lala lala lala...... (Look for the sunshine!) I wear a sun hat. You know it's true! May the sun shine its light onto you. Onto you. May it shine it's light on you..... (Look for the sunshine!) x6 (Look for the sunshine, even when it rains!) Look for the sunshine, even when it rains....

Set to lute in pure Pythagorean tuning based on perfect fifths, the way the ancient Greeks would have played along with a dramatic story around a campfire.

Lying in bed, and as usual, I can't sleep. But you're there by my side, so I don't need the light. Mistakes in my head play back to me on repeat. But if I'd done things right, would we meet that fateful night? I could be normal, successful, or famous. But would we even have met? Maybe we'd cross paths, but not at the right time. I don't think I'd take that bet. If we met back then somehow, would you love me? Like you love me now? Like you love me now... Like you love me now... Like you love me now! Like you love me... I still think of you like the first time I met you. I know that isn't fair. We've both changed since we were there. And in case you're afraid, it's a good first impression. But I know it isn't you. Now I've seen what you've been through... If we met again some how... Would you love me? Like you love me now? When I think of me changed so much would you know me? Would I even want you to? I know all of this is new. If we met again some how... Would you love me? Like you love me now? Would you love me like you love me now? Like you love me now... Love me now!
